Shooting the Video

Video Shoot - Day One

Today we have shot our initial footage in the first location, the day went pretty well and almost to plan. We have faced few difficulties as we went throughout the day, the main concern that we had was the timing. Initially we set out with four hours spare to film however meeting with the crew and collecting the equipment took us a while and therefore lost us some valuable filming time. The next difficulty that we have experienced was finding a parking space around the location, finding the parking has lost us about thirty minutes of the filming that we could have done. However after all those small imperfections we were able to start recording, the first couple of minutes we had to set our selves up and running we then begun the filming. Overall the footage was good however because it was very cold we were not able to get as much of the footage as we were hoping to get, this was because the footage that we needed to shoot was of the actor wearing a t shirt.

Video Shoot - Day Two

Today we have headed of early in the morning as we saw the opportunity to record some useful footage that was needed for the video. We decided to shoot today as it was a very bright sunny day and therefore was similar to the day that we first started to shoot the video, we had to make sure the filming was done with roughly the same type of weather to allow the music video to look professional and link together. Although it was still cold we managed to get some footage done.

Video Shoot - Day Three

Staying up after school today we were able to get the car scene done, today was very exciting as we have never done something like this before and didn't know difficult this would be. As we begun to shoot, the first issue that we have experienced was the camera angles; during shooting in the car there was very little space for any movement of the camera not even mentioning the tripod. Therefore we had to get into difficult positions to be able to get some quality footage.  We were able to get many different shots done from different perspectives and were generally happy with the work that we have produced today.
